• Discussion: Rated ‘M’ For ‘Mature’ from Reality Refracted
Reading the Life and Times of a Phillipine Gamer (which is something all of you should be doing), I noticed that he was looking for a change in tone in the game he is running. Specifically, Pointyman is looking to run a lighter toned game. Something cl... […]
  • The Insanity Commenceth! from The Player's Side of the Screen
Well, not until later today. In fact, I'm not really going to be posting anything substantial for today. Posting will move to (hopefully) Tuesday/Saturday, so that I can write up session recaps from Friday's games. That'll include tonight, which will be (drumroll) the PRE-SESSION!Wherein all of the... • The Challenge Of Writing Skill Challenges from Dungeon's Master
While attending GenCon this year I had a eureka moment. Or to be more precise, the sky parted, a brilliant ray of light shone down, I turned to Ameron and said, “We’re already doing that!” This was in response to almost every hand in the room going up in the air when Bill Slavicsek asked [...] […]

by John Payne I wrote this for Shayakand and plan to develop it in the future. Feel free to adapt them to your setting. For more details behind the scenes, I’ve also included a discussion we had on our internal Google Groups site: Gmail – [NMP] Demons and Undead Many of these undead and... […]
  • Scavenging for Inspiration: The Hunger Games from Level 30 Yinzer
I admit, I’m only halfway through The Hunger Games (by Suzanne Collins).  I know there are two more books in the series so far, and I am already eager to tear through them.  The author has done many things that I complained about when I tried to mine The Room for inspiration.  The characters... About Nameless Kingdom Games

Nameless Kingdom Games is an independent creator of games. We currently have one feature complete game available on this site, but several which are just not up here yet. I’m working on it.

We specialize in Tabletop Role-Playing Games, our flagship product being the Bikes and Broomsticks fantasy RPG, which is based on the idea that in a world where supernatural powers are generally understood and utilized, then everyone would use them. In Bikes and Broomsticks, almost everyone on earth has potential for a scattered array of powers that they use to maintain an industrial status quo. This system is designed to be used for urban fantasy style games and all the players need to run their characters can be easily recorded on the character sheet. Bikes and Broomsticks is also the only RPG I know of that handles character advancement during the action of the game,  by having so-called “Non-Trivial Tasks” intermittently throughout the adventure, success in which increases the player character’s skills.

Bikes and Broomsticks is available for download and as a print-on-demand book.
